Future Farmers of America

FFA is an organization for students enrolled in the CTC Agriculture Technology Program. It's purpose is to act as an extension of Agriculture Techology. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. The heart of the National FFA Organization is at the local chapter level. An& FFA chapter may be chartered in any public school with an agricultural education program. Leadership is provided by student officers who are elected each year by the chapter's members and by the agriculture teacher who serves as the advisor for the chapter. Although still known as Future Farmers of America, they are also& Future Biologists, Future Chemists, Future Veterinarians, Future Engineers and Future Entrepreneurs of America, too.

Health Occupations Students of America

HOSA is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health occupations instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in HSE programs. HOSA is 100% health care!

Skills USA

Skills USA is a student organization open to all trade and industrial education students. The purpose of this organization is to help all T&I students develop leadership skills that will benefit them in achieving their career goals. Competitions in leadership skill activities are provided in extemporaneous speaking, prepared speech, job interview technique, club business procedures and opening and closing ceremonies. Skill competition is also offered at the local, district, state, national, and international levels.

National Technical Honor Society

NTHS is a non-profit, honor organization for students enrolled in occupational, vocational-technical programs at CTC. The mission of NTHS is to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, award scholarships, and enhance career opportunities.
