The Ewing Middle School Parent-Teacher Organization, PTO, consists of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich our students. Our objective is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources and services that will maximize the education of every child and benefit the school.
Who can be a member?
Every Ewing parent or guardian, staff member, and teacher is eligible to be a member of the Ewing PTO! We encourage every PTO member to get involved, have your say, and make a difference.
5 reasons you should be an active member of the EMS PTO
- CHILDREN BENEFIT – Research shows that being involved in your child’s school helps them perform better academically.
- GET CONNECTED – There is no better way to know what’s happening at your child’s school than to attend monthly meetings, help create and plan events, and participate in fund raising. As result, you will be better informed about school issues and activities.
- TAP INTO A NETWORK – The PTO connects you to teachers and other parents through meetings, events and communications which help you to form relationships and build a sense of community.
- BE A ROLE MODEL – By becoming an active PTO member, you will be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on their education.
- WITNESS IMPROVEMENT – By getting involved in the PTO, you’ll be a part of the solution by helping to make positive changes and creating a positive and caring atmosphere in the school.
